About Our Workshop in Brussels
The studio grew from a small carpentry shop into a dedicated furniture workshop focused exclusively on solid wood. Based in the heart of Brussels, we bring together experienced cabinetmakers, detail-oriented designers, and finish specialists who share the same respect for natural materials. Rather than mass production, we work in small batches and custom runs, giving each project enough time for careful milling, assembly, and finishing. This slower pace allows us to refine joinery, test stability, and adjust subtle details that often make the difference between ordinary objects and truly satisfying pieces.
Our influences draw from European craftsmanship, contemporary minimalism, and traditional joinery techniques that have proven their reliability over decades. Every item begins with an understanding of how it will be used: how chairs support posture during long dinners, how drawers glide when full, how doors close softly in quiet homes. We map out ergonomic considerations alongside aesthetic decisions, ensuring the furniture feels as good as it looks. For clients, this means fewer compromises between beauty and practicality, especially in spaces where people gather, work, and rest every day.
Sustainability is not an abstract concept in our workshop; it is embedded in material selection, energy-conscious processes, and long-lasting construction methods. By prioritizing durable solid wood and timeless forms, we reduce the cycle of replacement that leads to unnecessary waste. Pieces can be repaired, resurfaced, or adapted over time, extending their lifespan far beyond trend-driven furnishings. In this way, each table, sideboard, or shelving system becomes an investment in both the interior environment and the broader ecological context.
